Why PS @ NYU?

Performance Studies at Tisch caught my attention because it beautifully encapsulates the passion I feel for the analytical, theoretical, and socially resonant points of theatre– not just the practice of performance. NYU’s program asks the question: “What does theatre do?” This is precisely what I am always chasing. Performance Studies gives the freedom to ask and collaborate to answer questions about what theatre’s place in the world is, what it can’t be, and what it should be.
