On Friday, March 10, as part of the Climate Action Conference, Tisch Open Arts partnered with the Institute of Performing Arts' Experimental Theatre Wing to produce a movement-based workshop with the fifth graders of New York City Elementary School PS3. The workshop was based around sharing and giving life to stories of climate change and how they have affected the students.
The fifth graders performed their own dance piece for the Tisch students. Then, they all split into groups and workshopped their own pieces around the theme of climate change. Afterwards, all students came together in the Frederick Loewe Theatre to showcase their pieces. You can find more on our Collaborations page.
