Shinnosuke Komiya
Class of 2022
Shinnosuke Komiya is a design engineer, creative technologist based in Brooklyn.
He was born in Tokyo and grew up in Tokyo.
He already finished his MA degrees at Tokyo Metropolitan University. His ex-thesis focused on Web and Hardware tools for disabled people. And also one of his representative work "GROOVE" was exhibited in SXSX 2017. His interest and research theme is "Human Augmentation". His theme isn't only physical reinforcement but also expanding one's imagination via his artworks.
He is also engaged in Eukarya Inc and DesignCat Inc as a board member who has the responsibility for design and engineering. Therefore he has entrepreneurial spirits as well.
He is currently pursuing his Masters in NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program at Tisch to obtain the aspect of interactive arts.
