Carrie Wang

Carrie Sijia Wang is a Chinese-born, NYC-based multimedia artist working in performance and interactive installation. She creates narratives and curates experiences to break down the artificial layers between what she has been taught to see and other possible realities. The juxtaposition between the real and the fictional, the rational and the absurd is a recurring theme in her work. Her work has been shown at New York Transit Museum, Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Spokane Public Library, CultureHub, Pier 92, Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and more.
