American Felt Building is a dark comedy about Sage Anderson, an excited first-time unpaid intern at Feltaco Industries, the premier American felt manufacturer. Over the course of her first day, Sage begins to realize how insane the company is, from the weirdly over-the-top orientation leader Feldspar Von Johnsoft to the living puppets that work at Feltaco as employees. Slowly, Sage realizes that her new internship is really just putting her through harsh, exploitative tasks, with no regard for their safety or sanity. Finally, Sage is asked to do one last task, something she finds morally reprehensible, and she has to decide whether the job of her dreams is worth the torture she will endure.
Cole is a New Jersey born, Los Angeles raised filmmaker who has directed and produced several short films. He is an avid fan of the comedy genre as well as a self-professed "scrappy filmmaker" who is continuously looking for new ways to expand the definition of what a comedy film can be. Currently he is in post-production for an ultra low budget Super 8mm feature film, shot using only one take per shot (because film stock is expensive?) Outside of film, he is currently taking applications for new hobbies.
