Performance Studies alum Aliza Shvarts' (PhD '20, MA '10) work, Untitled [Senior Thesis] (2008), has been named #32 of the best 100 artworks of the 21st century by ARTnews / Art in America.
Shvarts' work was selected by editors based on its relevance to contemporary movements and tendencies and its ability to embody a sensibility distinct to this century. The team focused on selecting individual works that could stand alone, independent of related pieces, and that were of the highest quality.
