Kevin Vu is a filmmaker and video artist from Southern California. After completing an English Literature degree, he attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program where he received his MFA in 2019. His work has screened at international film festivals and has been featured in Filmmaker Magazine, Vimeo Staff Picks, NoBudge, New York Times, Hammer to Nail, and ALTER.

He is a recipient of the inaugural Black Family Foundation Film Grant for his short film PERFECT AS CATS.

He is currently based in Brooklyn, NY and developing his debut feature film.
