Raised in South Minneapolis, Anneliese Lee-Reid began her creative career in theater acting at the age of six. Her passion slowly turned towards directing as she grew up, putting up various short plays and films throughout middle school and high school. In 2014 she migrated to New York City, and graduated with honors from the BFA in Film & Television program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2018. Her work focuses on the complicated relationships born between relatives and loved ones that can span generations.
