Nicole Cone is a filmmaker based in NYC and Newark, NJ. Nicole was born and raised in Miami FL, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a scholarship from the Posse Foundation. She is currently a student in the Graduate Film Program at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Nicole also works in the digital media and podcast space as a freelance producer. In a previous life, Nicole created documentaries at VICE and social content at Cheddar. She began her career in media as an NBC Page in the East Coast Page Program. Her first film, Four Women, was an official selection in the Short Films, Big Stories showcase with the Woodstock Film Festival and the inaugural Social Justice Now Film Festival, created by the founders of the American Black Film Festival.
