Two Chinese sisters in 1938, disguised as mother and daughter, attempt to pass through immigration at the notorious Angel Island Immigration Station. Trouble ensues after a fake passport is lost and their real story spills through the cracks.

Alex Lu is a director and cinematographer, class of 2017 1/2. By day, he manages production and wrangles motion controlled robotics jobs for a small studio in Brooklyn. At night he teaches himself how to paint. He is lactose intolerant.
