Maya, a woman in her early 40's has to host a dinner for her husband's friends, and convince her teenage daughter to behave like a true lady. When realizing that the dinner is turning into a disaster, and pushed to an edge by her daughter's behavior, she has a nervous breakdown, questioning the necessity and validity of the ideals she lives by.

Selin was born in Istanbul, Turkey, 1996. She came to NYC for the UGFTV program and has been living here ever since. She writes and shoots fiction and non-fiction films as well as work on engaging stories on various visual mediums, always looking for new ways to bridge her influence from both east and western cultures. Her main areas of interest have always been stories and characters that challenge taboos, social norms and women's place in cinema.
