Stephanie Y. Cheng was born in Fairfax County, Virginia and grew up in Beijing, China. Stephanie has always been interested in coming-of-age stories because she's fascinated and intrigued by the transformative period where the loss of innocence occurs.

Stephanie has recently worked as a producer at 88rising and freelances in photography and filmmaking.
