A tween girl of African descent visits a friend's house for a slumber party. However, when another girl shows up, their girl's night slowly turns into a nightmare for the only 'black girl.' This short film explores how jealously collides into prejudices, rendering an important moment in the life of a tween, black girl.

Raven Johnson is a Liberian filmmaker who grew up in the suburbs of Minnesota. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Cinema Studies from the University of Minnesota where she produced and edited various web videos about Student and Campus Life. After graduating, she worked as an editor's assistant on a TV series for Regency Beauty School. She is now pursuing her MFA in Filmmaking at NYU Tisch School ofthe Arts.
