"Inspired by the vastness of the ocean sky in New Mexico, the land of enchantment, the words of my songs were born a few years ago," said Chitra Neogy. "These words, sculpted in my voice, dance to Petr Filak’s music, an inspired musician who habitually transgresses the boundaries of music. I met him during a recital of my poetry. The music for my songs was born as a result of this collaboration."
This album, "Wood Orchid", is a sensuous tapestry of passion, magic, dreams and visions, strung together in word art – spoken, sung and chanted.
"We first performed this album in the listlessly wonderful Prague, but have since traveled with it and performed in London, Paris, New York and New Mexico."
