Georgia Overby was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California. Her love for visual storytelling began at a young age and inspired her to begin making short films when she was just 12 years old. Currently, Georgia is a student at New York University and majoring in Film and Television. She is set to graduate in spring 2026.

So You Out Here Alone?
A young solo hiker wakes up in her apartment on the day of her big hiking trip, to find her mother making breakfast as a surprise to her. As the mother and daughter eat and chat about the upcoming day, the daughter starts to become aware that something is very wrong.

Avani’s in the Stern-Tisch dual degree program. She’s interned in banking and volunteered at the New York Indian Film Festival, where she spotlights South Asian cinema.

Nandini studies Film & TV at Tisch with a minor in business. She’s worked in both scripted and unscripted content at places like Banijay Asia and Unicorn Island Productions.

Steph Prizhitomsky is a director/screenwriter studying film at NYU. Her work has been featured at the Museum of the Moving Image’s Marvels of Media and has won best of fest and audience choice at the Academy Art Museum. Onstage, she is a winner of the 2024 Young Playwrights Festival.

Annie Rongwei Qin is a filmmaker from Beijing, China. She's currently based in New York. Her work has been recognized at several international film festivals, including: the Special Award for Youth Documentary at the 2024 Shenzhen Youth Film Competition; and the Golden Documentary Award at the 2025 Japan World's Tourism Film Festival.

Benny Rendell's short films have been selected for the Woodstock, Austin, and Williamsburg Film Festivals. He has also directed a number of music videos for recording artists such as Donna Lewis, Spooky Ghost, and Pamela Sue Mann. Benny also teaches acting and filmmaking classes for teens with The Firebird Project.

Yimeng Wang is an independent animator, director, and writer. She grew up in China, and is currently studying Film and Animation Production at NYU. She is drawn by topics and themes about the quiet wisdom of nature, the beauty of small feelings, and the nostalgia that connects us to who we’ve been. With the international background, she participated in many productions, and in different countries. Yimeng was the animator for Places You Can Go (2023) and the writer of Until He’s Born (2024). AfterLife (2025) marks her directorial debut, which is her first film as a director.

She is a two-time NYU Producers Grant recipient, has interned at Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Sesame Street, and coordinated at the commercial production company Identity. Her work weaves history and the Black American experience into stories that foster empathy.
