Cassy Callari is an Undergraduate studying Film at NYU Tisch Kanbar Institute, concentrating on documentary filmmaking, post-production, and environmental humanities. Inspired by the natural world, especially birds, she uses her work to challenge ideas of “nature” at the intersection of urban living and community Cassy hopes to instill a sense of wonder through her films and encourage action in individuals and communities.

Jane Curley Born and raised in Westborough, Massachusetts, Jane has a relentless dedication for telling the bizarre and often terrifying stories of youth, girlhood, and the paranormal. Studying at Walnut Hill School for the Arts as a Writing, Film, and Media Arts major, she honed in her skills of telling stories through various mediums, whether that be poetry, film, or photography. Today, she studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts as a Film and Television major, with minors in Sociology and Business. At NYU, she is thrilled to take her strange stories to a greater, broader, and more horrifying scale. With a passion for marketing and publicity, she has also worked as an assistant and coordinator for clients on various high-profile projects such as Twisters (2024), FX’s Fargo, HBO’s Ren Faire, and more. Working as a summer film camp instructor for Incrediflix, she absolutely adored discovering what a new generation of kids want to go out and tell the world. And of course, she has recently picked up DJing, which she is not very good at.

Sixuan Huang Sirius (Sixuan) Huang is a film director, photographer, illustrator, animator, and graphic designer based in New York and Beijing. She’s currently pursuing a BFA in Film and TV at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Growing up in a metropolis in China, Sirius never ceases to discover the power of nature. She considers humanity as a reflection of other beings and the environment. This idea is shaped by her constant curiosity about the outside world. In the past 5 years, she has traveled to over 15 countries and places, taking every opportunity to experience the variety of art. In her recent journey to Tibet, China, she was surprised by the hidden life of Western China. This experience encourages her to discover a common story of human beings by exploring their individuality. As a new-generation visual storyteller, Sirius treasures technology as another way to stimulate creativity, pushing herself to explore multiple art forms, such as games, VR, and other interactive media. Her capability in constructing a digital world helps her create a new vision as a film director.
