We encourage an in-person artistic review, but we understand that we have applicants from all over the country and all over the world who may not be able to travel to one of our regional artistic review locations.
A digital submission consists of having a conversation with your evaluator on Zoom, a free video conferencing platform, and following our digital submission guidelines specific to each discipline. Here are the basics:
- ACTING: You will perform your monologues live on Zoom.
- MUSICAL THEATRE: You will perform your monologues live on Zoom AND upload singing and dance videos to the Drama Artistic Review portal.
- DIRECTING: You will perform your monologue live on Zoom AND upload your portfolio to the Drama Artistic Review portal.
- PRODUCTION & DESIGN: You will upload a statement of purpose and your portfolio to the Drama Artistic Review portal.
Digital submissions are considered just as seriously as in-person artistic reviews and the same team of evaluators reviews our digital candidates.
You may only participate in one artistic review as part of your application.
If internet access in your community or household is challenging, please contact Tisch Drama and we will make arrangements for you to upload videos of your monologues and speak with your evaluator over the telephone.
