Artistic Review Dates and Locations

DEADLINES

We recommend that you submit your Common Application early, as artistic review sessions fill on a first come, first served basis. Please visit our How To Apply page to learn more about the application process.

The deadline to schedule your artistic review is almost immediately after your Common Application deadline and is STRICTLY enforced.

As artistic reviews begin shortly after their corresponding application deadlines, we encourage you to follow the recommended application deadlines below in order to secure your desired date and location:

Please understand the recommended deadlines make the process easier for our applicants. NYU Undergraduate Admissions will still accept applications up until the actual deadlines.

A couple of days after you submit the Common Application, you will receive an email from NYU with a personalized link to the Drama Artistic Review portal. You must schedule your artistic review by the deadlines below:

2024 ARTISTIC REVIEW SCHEDULING DEADLINE

Early Decision II	January 1	January 6 - 9AM EST
Regular Decision	January 5	January 12 - 9AM EST
Current NYU Student	March 1	March 8 - 9AM EST
External Transfer	April 1	April 8 - 9AM EST

You will actually reserve a morning or afternoon artistic review session which typically lasts about 3.5 hours. The session time is your check-in time.

Failure to schedule your artistic review by the deadline will result in forfeiture of your NYU application.
