Spotlight: Patricia Beaman, Faculty

Patricia Beaman, Visiting Associate Arts Professor, will be a Resident Fellow at the Center for Ballet and the Arts in Fall 2018, working on a new book. She recently acted as choreographic consultant for Transmissions, an exhibition on modernist ballet and avant-garde artists by Nick Mauss at the Whitney Museum. The show features daily dance performances, and includes Tisch alumni, Alexander Albrecht and Elizabeth Hepp.

Patricia teaches UG Dance History I: From Ritual to Romanticism and UG Dance History II: From Petipa to Postmodernism. For Master's students, she teaches GT World Dance Cultures, GT The Dance is a Weapon for Social Justice, and GT Graduate Seminar II.
