MIAP Thesis Week 2024

It's that time of year again! The Moving Image Archiving and Preservation MA program at New York University is proud to present graduating students' culminating research and preservation projects from Monday, March 25th - Friday, March 29th in Michelson Theater at 721 Broadway, 6th Floor. Thesis presentations round out every MIAP student's experience. Each student presents their in-progress project to the community for support and feedback. For each session, there will be 40-45 minutes of presentation then the rest of the time is open for comments and questions.

Please sign up for each presentation you'd like to attend in the Eventbrite link above. RSVP is required for non-NYU guests. If you are part of the NYU community is it recommended you RSVP to help us have accurate numbers for attendance, but you may also show up on the day given there are enough seats available. Thesis advisors are assumed to attend each presentation of their advisee, but please RSVP to all other presentations you wish to attend. If your plans change, please send an email to tisch.preservation@nyu.edu so we can offer your spot to someone else in case we need to start a waitlist. We will not be live streaming presentations.

There will be a student staff member checking in attendees in the Tisch entrance lobby. Your attendance is granted to the building 30 minutes before presentations. Take the elevators to the 6th Floor and look for signs to Michelson Theater.
