Arts Politics Alum Co-Curates "Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall" at Brooklyn Museum

Lindsay C. Harris, MA Arts Politics, '12, current Teen Programs Manager at Brooklyn Museum is a co-curator of Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall. Lindsay began at the museum in 2015 to launch innovative and necessary LGBTQ+ paid teen programming, and has been honored to integrate intergenerational queer arts mentorship as co-curator of Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall.

Lindsay Catherine Harris (she/they) is a media artist, social justice advocate, curator, and educator. As the current Teen Programs Manager at Brooklyn Museum, Lindsay supports youth mentorship and leadership across four paid teen internships, ongoing community partnerships, annual free public programs for NYC teens, and intergenerational and equity arts based learning across Education. Lindsay is committed to increasing meaningful civic engagement, challenging inequity, and amplifying youth voice—specifically femme, queer, and trans youth of color—in cultural programming in Brooklyn.
