Resume Clinic

The Tisch Office of Career Development has partnered with Tisch Drama and Tisch UGFTV, to host a monthly online Resume Clinic. Get your resume checked by a career services staff member to make sure it’s effectively showcasing your qualifications for internships and jobs! 

This virtual clinic is open to all current full-time Tisch students, regardless of major or graduation date. Here’s how it works:

•  Note you must have a Tisch College Central account (www.collegecentral.com/tisch) to submit your resume, and that this is not the same thing as NYU Handshake (nyu.joinhandshake.com). 
• On Monday, December 7th at 10am ET, the Resume Clinic registration form will go live on Tisch College Central and remain open until Tuesday, December 8th at 10am ET.
  
  • Please note participation is limited. Once the Resume Clinic reaches capacity, the submission portal will close, which may occur prior to December 8th.
    
• To access the Resume Clinic registration form, log into Tisch College Central at www.collegecentral.com/tisch. Then click on the "Search My School's Jobs" section and enter "Resume Clinic" in the keyword field to find the Tisch Resume Clinic listing. When it  appears in your search results, click on the hyperlinked listing title to see the full details and the "Apply Online" Google Form link.  (Note: this listing will not appear in Tisch College Central until the morning of December 7th.)
• All files should be formatted as pdfs (uploaded to Google Drive) or shared Google Docs with comment/edit access. Screenshots to profiles on Actors Access, Backstage, and LinkedIn are not accepted.
• Feedback is limited to two resumes per person.
• A Tisch career services staff member will email you by December 18th with feedback.
