Life After Tisch

Recent graduates provide candid views about how they navigated the transition from student to professional, as well as reflections on their artistic growth since college.

2024 Alumni Panelists: 

Nishika Agarwal (she/her) is an independent filmmaker and screenwriter based in LA and a recent graduate of NYU Tisch (BFA in Film & Television). Nishika is currently an assistant to an Independent Film Agent at WME. She has over two years of professional assistant experience in the Film and Television industry across development, writing, and production. Most recently, she worked as a Writer's Assistant for a Writer's Guild Award-nominated television writer, and she has worked on series pitches to major studios. Her credits include award-winning short films and independent documentaries, and companies such as Sesame Workshop.

Rindy Ding graduated from Tisch Film & TV Production as class of 2024. During her undergraduate time, she has interned in companies like ByteDance and Bleecker Street Media and produced various short films. She is passionate about business strategy, film producing, and entrepreneurship. She is currently working at American Express's Enterprise Strategy team solving high priority problems with C-level executives, working across topics such as entertainment partnership, dining, and travel.

Sam Whitley is a recent graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dramatic Writing and minors in Computer Science and Integrated Design and Media. Upon graduating, Sam was accepted into the NBCUniversal East Coast Page Program, a year long rotational program where she completed rotations with Shop TODAY’s Commerce Analytics and Cable Brand Strategy teams. Now, Sam is on her last rotation as a Peacock Marketing Technology (MarTech) Page and Weekend TODAY Production Page.
