Writing the Video Game will cover all aspects of video game writing, from dialogue and worldbuilding to character design. Working through practical exercises, we will cover a wide range of formats genres to explore the mechanics of interactive storytelling and find the expressive power in this new medium. We will also learn the basics of game development and working with a development team. Developers from the industry will be brought in to share their expertise about interactive media design, production and writing.
