Rikki Henry is a multidisciplinary artist from the UK, specializing in film and 3D motion graphics, with a primary focus on theatre direction. In 2020, he won the Nestroy Award for Best Federal State Performance for the production of Hamlet in Austria. He served as the inaugural associate director for Project 2036 at the Bush Theatre in 2016/17. He also worked as an associate director at HOME in Manchester, as a recipient of the BBC Performing Arts Fellowship in 2015. In the same year, he was recognized as the Genesis Future Directors Award. Most notably, he was associate director to Peter Brook from 2012-2014 on the international production of The Suit.

He has worked in the German-speaking world on productions at Schauspiel Dortmund, Residenz Theater in Germany; the Landestheater Niederösterreich, the Burgtheater, and the Bühne Baden in Austria. In the UK he has worked at the Royal Court, National Theatre, Bush Theatre, Young Vic, Bristol Old Vic, The Coronet and the Arcola Theatre. Rikki’s forthcoming production in Germany is at the Schaubühne in Berlin.
