Become part of an Italian tradition that stretches from the Middle Ages to present times while studying in one of Italy’s most breathtaking cities!

Join Jim Calder, Jacob Olesen, and recent alumni in a conversation about Commedia dell’Arte in Florence. As part of the program, students delve into mask work, circus skills, scene improvisation, and even create their own clown. Students are involved in local festivals and carnivals. They also are exposed to the work of mask makers and specialists from Italy and Switzerland.
