Commedia dell'Arte Acting Workshop

Attend an immersive Commedia dell'Arte acting workshop with Jim Calder, master teacher and head of movement in NYU Tisch Graduate Acting.

Experience some of the practical training covered in the NYU Tisch undergraduate summer study abroad program Commedia dell'Arte in Florence. Jim Calder will lead improvisation exercises and mask and character work, challenging your intentions and movements to bring your characters to life.

This workshop is intended to give prospective Commedia dell’Arte students exposure to what the six-week Florence program is all about.

This event is open to all NYU and visiting undergraduate college students. To access this event, you may be requested to present your student ID.
