Please join us in congratulating DPI chair Dr. Deborah Willis on her recent appointment. Dr. Willis is one of three new members named to the Warhol Foundation board on October 9, 2018. From the ArtForum article about the announcement:
The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts has elected Julián Zugazagoitia, who currently serves as the director and CEO of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, as its new board chair and has added three new board members: Naomi Beckwith, the senior curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; Cary J. Davis, a senior partner at the private equity firm Warburg Pincus; and Deborah Willis, a photographer, curator, and historian who specializes in African American art and culture. Zugazagoitia will succeed Igor DaCosta, who recently completed his term.
