Description of Project

This project considers description as a form of access and a method in the field of performance studies. It starts multiple times, and moves through historical moments that may, and may not have happened, each start opened in convergence of vagrancy, disability, and refusal to work (in ways deemed legitimate). Its title takes after archival records that document the historical period of the Unsightly Begging Ordinances, to stay with the improvisational, everyday performance that scams and shams the notion of worthiness.
