Sarah Carter is a singer-songwriter from Louisville, Kentucky. She studies Performance Studies at NYU Tisch and writes for VOICE Louisville Magazine. Sarah will release her debut EP Quiet Power on August 5, 2022.

Quiet Power is a five song EP (extended play) about self-discovery through solitude and connection with nature and spirit. The music explores the intersection of folk, country and rock genres, and the soulful lyrics reflect a spiritual awakening. The songs are about overcoming fear of the unknown and growing from the pain life gives us. When we return home to ourselves and release resistance to the uncontrollable, we align with our true purpose. Quiet Power represents vulnerability, inner-strength, intuition, faith, confidence, and presence.
