Description of Project

Why do queer people love pop music so much, especially when it is frequently considered "low art?" Building upon ideas of queer failure, this essay explores the "lessness" of loving pop music and how to identify with others inspired by pop music in "lessness" together.

Project Inspiration

I love pop music and I love queers. I came to this program in the pursuit of fleshing out this project, so I'm excited to finally get to put it all together.
