I am a senior in Performance Studies with a passion for music and film. I create Shoegaze/Dreampop music as the band Cherry Flavor and I am currently working for the record label 4AD. I hope to one day play music professionally and compose scores for film and TV. I love listening to and telling stories and definitely look forward to continuing my podcast project in the future!

Description of Capstone Project

For my Capstone, I created a podcast called "Under the Impression", which honors the unusual, the unexpected, and the people who think outside of the box. For the first season, I drew from fundamental Performance Studies theories to analyze the work and impact of five groundbreaking artists who we have encountered in the curriculum. My time in the department has taught me to open my mind and understand the world around me in new ways, inspiring me in my own creative work, my outlook on life, and my relationship with my community. I hope that through storytelling, I can offer that same experience for the podcast listeners.
I intend to have the first episode out on streaming services this summer!
