Tessa Allen & Krystalla Pearce to Perform at Wild Project

Tuesday, Sep 27, 2016

Rat King Theatre presents two works-in-progress: one about the same woman in different places in her life, the other about different women who are in the same place at different times.

The Ants Go Marching is a short work-in-progress in which two women - one very pregnant, and one very not - struggle to connect from their disparate viewpoints. As their communication breaks down, Edith recounts a fairy tale and Edie expresses herself through movement.

Performed by Tessa Allen and Krystalla Pearce (MA '14).

151 Ludlow, is a short film currently in development. It tells the stories of multiple women living in the same Lower East Side tenement building at different points in history. Caroline Craig and Emily Cass McDonnell will perform a reading of one scene from the film involving two sisters who have recently arrived in New York from Ireland during WWI.
