Leon Hilton defended his dissertation with distinction in the Department of Performance Studies in September 2015. In 2016/17 he will be an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, where he will work on completing his first book manuscript while in residence at the Penn Humanities Forum. He will also teach a class in Penn's Cinema Studies program on the concept of the "feral" and the figure of wild child in the cultural imagination.
