Performance Studies alum Daniel Banks' (Ph.D. '05) Casting a Movement: The Welcome Table Initiative will be published by Routledge Press. Co-edited by Claire Syler and Daniel Banks, Casting a Movement brings together US-based actors, directors, educators, playwrights, and scholars to explorethe cultural politics of casting.
Banks was also the 2019 MAP Fund Award Recipient for the development of "The Secret Sharer."
