Why PS @ NYU?

I hold a deep love of poetics, of learning, of ritual: one ingrained in me by way of, perhaps, morning car rides to elementary school with my family, essay writing before the sunrises tomorrow, the labor of finishing a work. Thus poetry, melody was what I used to reconcile the unintelligible, a process. It brought me towards studying the act of study, the play of a teacher's tongue, moving towards & gathering an understanding of pedagogy, of education, of the embezzlement of knowledge to one another is why I find myself here, Performance Studies, getting lost in the woodwork.
