My name is Julia Davolio and I am a singer/songwriter, actress, writer, and activist performer! I am in a NYC-based rock band where I sing both original and cover songs at restaurants, bars, music venues, and other events! I am the founder of a non- profit Organization "Drama for Disorder" which provides a creative platform for adolescents to express themselves through the arts. I enjoy doing mission work-- I lived in Jamaica during my sophomore year of High School, giving voice lessons to young children in Kingston, and studying psychology. I love to write-- I can write all day about anything and everything- I love writing poems especially. I am also currently writing a book of memoirs! I am the founder of a Long Island based improv troupe and I hope to peruse acting at NYU! I love musical theater, acting on stage, and acting in films! I am beyond excited to dive into NYU and meet inspiring people along the way- I am eager to collaborate with my peers and create magic!

I am very interested in how communication and performing go hand and hand-- the power that lies in both the hands of the performer and the audience. I enjoy activism through the arts, and am excited to learn all I can this year.
