Sarah Palay

Sarah Palay is a recent a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (summa cum laude) who comes to Performance Studies with a background in acting, English literature, and performance theory. As part of her undergraduate honors thesis, Sarah staged various drafts of Samuel Beckett’s short work, PLAY, in order to assess performance variability amongst Beckett’s typescripts. In addition to her interest in archival productions, Sarah specializes in Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed and has spent the past two years teaching and researching Boal’s technique.
