Marija Krtolica

Marija Krtolica is an interdisciplinary dance scholar and a dance-theater maker. She holds MA in Performance Studies and BFA in dance from the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU; MFA in choreography from UC Davis, and PhD in dance from Temple University. Her recent written work has been published in Documenta (UGhent), and The International Journal for the Arts in the Society. Marija is currently choreographing a dance-theater piece based on the ideas of the philosopher Alain Badiou. The film exploring same movement practices and concepts was presented at the Itsliquid festival in Venice (Italy) in the Fall 2020.
