The workshop explored the intersection of art practice and sustainability
On Friday February 3rd, Lorena Ostia (ITP '23) conducted a workshop on Substituting Plastics with Biodegradable materials at ITP/IMA. The series of BioArt Workshops are funded by the "NYU Green Grant", where participants discuss the intersection of Sustainability, Art Practice and Synthetic Biology.
In Friday's session, participants learned how to make Bioplastics in partnerships with two members of the Biomaterials Research Group at Genspace.
