MyFi Studio hosted an Art Basel Miami Bash at Naomi's Garden on Tuesday November 29th, 2022. The event featured a full day of music, glitching, learning, food, drinks, and multisensory art, including the lastest scent by Low Res '22 Alum M Dougherty, NODES.
NODES explores how we encroach upon the point of singularity when computational intelligence will surpass human intelligence, but the truth is that nature passed this point long before humans even touched this earth. Mycelium is an intricate network of mushroom roots that connects the entire forest, serving as a pathway of information and resources between many species. As the very best of our current technological advances become obsolete, mycelium begins to reclaim it, and learns how to use it, integrating fiber optic cables into its organic networks. nodes is the meeting point between these two intelligence systems- the computational and biological.
