Riven Ratanavanh

Riven Ratanavanh (b. 1996 in Bangkok, Thailand) is a New York-based interdisciplinary artist who works in performance, installation, sound, and film.
Their work explores the sonic and embodied realms of power, gender, and race. They hack into various technologies to amplify and augment bodily processes, transforming physiological phenomena to create new modes of sensing, perceiving, and being.
Their work has been showcased by the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the London Short Film Festival, and the Seattle Trans Film Festival. They have taught at Performance Space, exhibited at NYCxDESIGN, and have been featured in Dazed Magazine and CIRCA, among many other platforms.
