For all ITP/IMA Students: please join us in Room 412 on November 8th, from 1 - 3 p.m. to discover external resources/departments at NYU. The following departments will be there:

Leslie E-Lab:

The Mark and Debra Leslie Entrepreneurs Lab is a 6,800-square-foot facility in the heart of the Washington Square campus where aspiring NYU entrepreneurs from across all of NYU’s schools and colleges—be they students, faculty, or researchers—can meet to connect, collaborate, and tap into a vast array resources to help develop their ideas and inventions into startup companies.

Makerspace:

The NYU Tandon MakerSpace is a cutting edge workspace lab created to foster collaborative design projects. The MakerSpace is open to all NYU students, staff, and faculty. It highlights new kinds of iterative, interdisciplinary teamwork using cutting-edge tools of rapid prototyping and digitally driven production. The MakerSpace provides daily hands-on training for all of it's machines and also hosts weekly workshops through the Design Lab, the educational programming arm of the MakerSpace. These workshops range from creative, to design focused, to technical and encourage students to learn new skills from their peers as well as gain first hand experience from industry professionals.

Production Lab:

The NYU Production Lab is a storytelling incubator whose mission is to help the next generation design and launch thriving careers in creative industries. The Production Lab made its first film investments in fall 2014 and then opened its doors to NYU’s creative community in fall 2015.  As a creative content incubator, the Lab serves as an experiential-learning bridge for students navigating the transition from an academic classroom to the professional creative industry.
