Grad Film Alum Soopum Sohn’s film Sequestrada will premiere at Village East Cinema this Friday, November 15th. The film centers around an indigenous girl who is kidnapped by traffickers and has to rely on one man who offers to help find her family again, even though he may be the key to destroying her people.
Sequestrada, which stars Tim Blake Nelson and Gretchen Mol, will screen all day at Village East from November 15th to November 21st. Following the theatrical premiere, there will be a Q&A with Sohn and his co-director Sabrina McCormick. Q&As will also be held after the November 16th and November 21st screenings.
