Jessica Li is a New York-based filmmaker from New Jersey currently pursuing a joint MBA/MFA at NYU Stern and Tisch, where she's been awarded the Story Mining & Supply Scholarship at Stern and the Tisch School of the Arts and Yunni & Maxine Pao Memorial Scholarships at Tisch. She has produced several short films since starting graduate school, and is particularly interested in stories that explore humanity through underrepresented voices and unexpected places. Jess holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in English and started her career in the marketing, legal and business side of the entertainment industry through marketing internships at Paramount Studios and A24 and a full-time role as a Legal Assistant at Amazon Studios before pivoting to film producing, writing, and directing.
