Ayla Khan is a New York-based writer-director from Karachi, Pakistan, where she was born and raised. Her work ranges from narrative to documentary to somewhere in between. It centers passion—in individual spirit and as an essential life force—reflected in a visual language that is testament. She aspires to tell impressionistic stories about intimate relationships with the self and our loved ones, and the contradictory range of emotions revealed within them.
