Caroline Gohlke is a writer and director from Detroit, MI based in New York City, where she is currently an MFA candidate at NYU Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film program. She is a TSOA scholar and recipient of the Steven J. Ross Fellowship. She was awarded the Black Family Film Prize for her short film Rapids that received a faculty commendation for best directing and was selected as a King Awards finalist. She is the recipient of the Spike Lee Film Production Fund in support of her upcoming short Soft Pavement and in development on her debut feature film, Imaginary Lines.
