Alan He is a Chinese-American director and producer born and raised in Westchester County, NY, and currently based in NYC. He is a recent graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Film & TV and a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. He is an award-winning producer, having short narrative films selected for Hollyshorts, NFFTY, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, and Ān-dé-lǔ won an audience award at NFFTY. He’s inspired by larger stories that depict the diaspora of Asian-Americans growing up across modern United States and strives to celebrate Asian faces on screen. His debut short Ān-dé-lǔ is currently finishing up its festival run.
