Director, Writer, Producer, Sound Mixer – Riya Agarwal is a South Asian filmmaker and NYU Tisch MFA alum whose credits include collaborations on films that screened at Tribeca, SXSW, and Cannes. She has worked with Nandita Das and Anurag Kashyap, and served on screening committees for Woodstock, Atlanta, and BendFilm Festivals.

Ana A. Alpizar is a Cuban filmmaker based in New York City. Her short films have screened at numerous festivals, including Sundance, Venice, and Clermont-Ferrand. She is currently enrolled in the Graduate Film Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and is a recipient of the BAFTA BBC America Diversity Scholarship.

Christina Batte is a filmmaker, composer, audio engineer, video editor, and educator. Christina is diversifying the film industry by passing down her technological knowledge to femmes of color. She's trained over 40 high school girls in audio engineering, songwriting, music production, podcasting, and filmmaking at the Lower Eastside Girl’s Club.

Nadia Bedj is a New York-based writer and director originally from Moscow, Russia. After earning a BA in Journalism from Moscow State University, she relocated to New York and received a Green Card as an alien of extraordinary ability for her award-winning short films and photography.

Nino Benashvili is an award-winning Georgian filmmaker based between Tbilisi and New York. Her films have screened at major festivals including San Sebastián, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara and EnergaCamerimage. She is a 2023 BAFTA US BBC Diversity Scholar and Jagat Murari directing award recipient.

Gaby Clingman is a South Africa-born writer and director. She previously worked at Jake Gyllenhaal’s Nine Stories Productions, contributing to Stronger, Wildlife, and the Broadway revival of Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George. She is drawn to stories about women confronting the systems that have shaped and silenced them.
