Picture Love, by Andrew French

Picture Love, by Andrew French

Acclaimed portrait and lifestyle photographer UGFTV Adjunct, Andrew French, was selected by Zeiss, a leading manufacturer of camera lenses, to lead a special photo exhibition for PRIDE month called Picture Love. Zeiss gifted a curated group of creatives their Batis Lens for the campaign and gave them one simple edict...shoot beauty.

The results have been a celebration of modernity and the connections with others that define humanity. The Picture Love campaign consists of two components. The first--French’s portraits will become large posters and displayed predominantly along of the routes of New York City and San Francisco’s Pride Parades on June 27.

Zeiss’ Picture Love exhibit also includes an online gallery and social media campaign. Photography influencers are sharing their Zeiss Picture Love images on social media throughout the month. They include same-sex couples celebrating their relationships, a one-of-a-kind San Francisco Police Department vehicle with a PRIDE paint scheme, and potraits of Jonathan, a New York artist who’s living with both HIV and a rare form of Cerebral Palsy that effects his motor skills. Jonathan doesn’t allow his physical limitations impede his love for painting. Early previews of the final images can be seen on Instagram searching the hashtag #zeisspicturelove.
